Update | Cookies & UHC Referrals

Mmmm, cookies!
Time for a cookie update. No, not those type of cookies I’m afraid.

If you visited the UHC website in the last 24 hours you will have noticed that we added a pop-up notification alerting to the fact that UHC uses cookies to help improve user experience. This is already covered in our privacy policy which you can find here. The members area of the website relies on cookies to function, but only essential cookies which contain no sensitive personal information or any information which can be used to identify you.

As part of the new GDPR legislation, anyone can now request a copy of all information held about them electronically. UHC is no exception to this rule, and therefore if you would like to know more about what information UHC has on record for you, please email dpo@uhcapps.co.uk.

Furthermore, anyone can request that all digital information held on record be deleted. Please note, in the case of UHC, this request would result in the irreversible deletion of your account. If you wish to exercise this right, please email dpo@uhcapps.co.uk.

We take your privacy very seriously and never collect more information that is absolutely necessary to be able to provide the service we offer. Please get in touch if you have any concerns about your privacy.

UHC Referral System
Unfortunately the UHC referral system had a small bug which resulted in some referrals not being paid out. This bug has now been fixed and a script has reviewed and made the appropriate payments for all eligible referrals. In some cases it is not possible to accurately determine whether a referred member had a valid membership at the time of being referred, and where this is true, the referral payment has been made regardless.

If you believe you are missing referral payments, please email support@uhcapps.co.uk with as much information as possible. We apologise sincerely for this issue and any inconvenience caused.

Please post any questions or concerns here in the forum, thanks.
